Unbelievable Jeff! Derby County midfielder Jeff Hendrick

I have never been the biggest fan of midfielder Jeff Hendrick, apart from the wonder strike at the City Ground, has he changed this season?

Last season saw him emerge onto Nigel Clough’s first team, even keeping then young player of the year James Bailey out the side. I believed, particularly after his winning goal at Nottingham Forest, that he was overrated by some supporters. (more…)

Nicky Summerbee, the former Manchester City midfielder, also had spells with several other teams including Swindon Town, Sunderland and Bolton Wanderers and was capped for England at C and U-21 level.
