We’re continuing our ‘Top 5’ series with a look at the Premier League’s most underrated players.

While the likes of Luis Suarez and Yaya Toure grab the headlines, these five fly under the radar.

Top 5 underrated Premier League playersSo, without further ado, here we go.

Jordon Mutch

Jordon Mutch

The Cardiff City midfielder has scored seven Premier League goals in thirty one appearances and has impressed during his first top flight campaign. Bought from Birmingham in 2012 for a fee thought to be in excess of £1m, Mutch represents fantastic value for money. Left footed, the twenty-two year old has the skill, tenacity and attacking flair to go beyond a relegation scrap with his current club.

Marko Arnautovic

Marko Arnautovic

Signed from Werder Bremen for a bargain £2m, the Austrian came into the Premier League with a reputation as a difficult character. Yet since his arrival at Stoke, Arnautovic has turned his career round with a series of impressive performances. He recently scored the winner in his side’s 1-0 win over Newcastle and has pace and tricky in abundance.

Jason Puncheon

Jason Puncheon

Crystal Palace winger Jason Puncheon is the clubs top scorer with seven goals and has some calling for England recognition. That might be a little far but there’s no doubting his talent. The twenty-seven year old has seemingly found his home at Selhurst Park after a string of loans and is proving to be the Eagles most effective, reliable figures.

Robert Snodgrass

Robert Snodgrass

The Scotland international has been one of the few bright sparks in a disappointing season for Norwich. The twenty-six year old has chipped in with six goals and two assists and has a wand for a left foot. Deadly from set-pieces, Snodgrass will be integral if the Canaries stay in the Premier League.

Tom Huddlestone

Tom HuddlestoneHaving recently scored in the FA Cup semi-final win over Sheffield United at Wembley, Hull’s Tom Huddlestone has shown his class as a defensive midfielder. An incredible passer of the ball and with a vicious shot, the Nottingham born 27-year year old has excelled and has played in 32 of Hull’s 33 Premier League games.

Well, that’s our five, but who would you have?
