Darren Ferguson bemoans fans’ ‘disrespect’ for Posh’s start

Peterborough United boss, Darren Ferguson has branded the club’s fans “disrespectful” in the manner in which they have greeted the London Road side’s start to the season.

Ferguson commented: “I think our fans are quite disrespectful to the league. I didn’t like the atmosphere [against Shrewsbury, on Saturday], I think our fans think we’re going to win 6-0 every game. It’s impossible to do that. I don’t think my players get anywhere near enough credit.” (more…)

One Knill to Torquay

League Two strugglers Torquay United yesterday announced the appointment of Alan Knill as the club’s interim manager until the end of the season.
