Antonio Conte is eyeing up thirty Chelsea wins for the season.

Antonio Conte and Chelsea set sights on 30-win seasonA young Blues side backed up their premiership-winning victory over West Bromwich Albion on Friday with a thrilling 4-3 win over Watford at Stamford Bridge.

Outgoing John Terry as well as Michy Batshuayi, Cesc Fabregas and Cesar Azpilicueta all hit the scoreboard, pipping Watford in the 88th minute of the game. The win took Chelsea’s wins tally to 29, meaning the west Londoners can cap off their highly successful season with a 30th win against Sunderland on the weekend.

Twenty-nine games have already been won, and Conte hailed that as a “great, great achievement”, but still wants more.

“We won 29 games in this league. I think this is great, a great achievement,” he said. “We have the possibility to win 30 games, to try to reach this target now. It is important for me, it is important for the players. “The most important thing is to win the league, but then, we you arrive at this situation, and you can write some records, I think it is important for the history.”

In the same media conference, a reporter made known to Conte that Diego Costa ventured to the press room at half time for snack. Conte joked the striker should have shared the food with him.

“In this case I am very angry because he must think to give me a bit of chocolate cake!”
